What Education is Required for an Astronomer?
The journey to becoming an astronomer starts in college. You must first acquire a major is Physics/Astronomy or in any related field. After obtaining a major, you must then get a Master's or doctorate degree in the same field or related field to officially become qualified to be an astronomer.
